PCAPIA is the renamed and expanded CAPIA, now covering California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii and Alaska. The 2025 program leaned heavily into the LA wildfire claims wave, which is exactly the large-loss segment where PA software and expert services get bought. Attendees are West Coast PA firm principals plus policyholder-side counsel.

Planning notes
Past event, logged retroactively. Program included appraiser/umpire certification, WUI fire smoke assessment, LA wildfires litigation, ethics for public adjusters, policy-reading and business-income workshops, a members-only fireside chat with claims professionals, and a Nov 10 evening networking reception. Ken Crown, SPPA (Greenspan/Adjusters International) was elected president at this meeting.
